Charles
Charles M. Black (also known as Sukhram Singh) is affectionately recognized as Amarillo’s Yogi Pharmacist. With a deep passion for healing and empowerment, Charles combines his expertise as a Registered Pharmacist with his certification as a KRI-trained Kundalini Yoga Instructor. Having studied under Guruchander Khalsa and Kirn Khalsa at Yoga Santa Fe, he brings a profound understanding of holistic health and yoga practices to his work.
Charles owns and operates West Texas Rx alongside his wife, Sara (Sukhram Kaur). A devoted father of four and grandfather of seven, Charles infuses joy and purpose into everything he does. He offers transformative yoga classes that are energetic, fun, and designed to harness the power of breath to open the heart. Sara
Sara Black (Sukhram Kaur) brings a graceful blend of science, yoga, and holistic health to West Texas RX, which she co-owns with her husband, Charles. As a certified Kundalini Yoga teacher and member of the International Kundalini Yoga Teachers Association (IKYTA), Sara has been practicing Hatha and Kundalini Yoga since 2002 and completed The Aquarian Teacher Level I training at Yoga Santa Fe in 2014.
With a Master of Science Degree in Civil Engineering from Texas Tech specializing in Environmental Aspects, Sara expertly integrates her background in chemistry and engineering into her unique approach to health counseling. Sara educates customers on their blood chemistry and the powerful impact of diet, enzymes, iodine, and minerals on their overall well-being.
She is inspired by the transformational powers of yoga, mantra, and meditation and is committed to guiding her clients toward balance and vitality with personalized care and integrative practices.
